This is very exciting news. ComingSoon.com reports that Legend of the Seeker has been nominated for an Emmy in the category: Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score)

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations for the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards this morning. The awards will be presented on September 20 and the show, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, will air on CBS.

It's not surprising that Joe LoDuca has been nominated. His work is simply outstanding as many Xena fans would know after 6 seasons of the show.
