I just recently returned from the 2009 Xena Convention at LAX and took some photos of the panel. Click here to view

Present at this convention was Rob Tapert (the executive producer for Xena and now LotS). Joining him on stage was Nicki Paluga (staff writer) and Stephen Tolkin (co-Executive Director). The panel started by a showing of five minutes from Confession.

They then took the stage where they answered questions from fans about the show, the direction it was to take and how they cast it.

Rob was asked if Lucy Lawless was going to appearing on the show and he suggested people ask Lucy...Lucy was asked later and she said no she wasn't going to be on the show.

Steven Sears mentioned that Rob wanted him on the writing staff but this was vetoed by someone at ABC who didn't want Steven. What a shame. Steve would have been a great addition to the creative team. Their loss.

Rob was asked if there would be any Legend of the Seeker conventions. Rob said if the fans wanted one there will be but it was up to us to make that happen.

Not on the panel but relevant to LotS was Michael Hurst discussing working on LotS - directing and acting.
